**Fleet Long Term Planner**
My client is a specialist provider of large-scale mining services to Australia's resources sector. In addition to providing earthmoving and other contract mining services, they provide heavy equipment rental to mining sites with their fleet of large-scale and ancillary earthmoving and excavating machinery.

**Key aspects of this role include**:

- Develop a fit-for-purpose 12 and 6-month major component replacement plan, which is resourced and communicated to ensure assets are maintained at optimum levels
- Liaise with key suppliers to ensure supply of required components
- Plan and manage major offsite machine rebuilds including assisting with scope and variations
- Plan services for the Production and Maintenance departments by ensuring the development of accurate and timely forecast plans
- Work closely with both the project Planners and Fleet Specialists to ensure that the mining process and maintenance activities align with the mine production plan
- Collaborate with Managers and Superintendents to identify improvement opportunities for operations and maintenance
- Ensure the Long-Term Planning data is kept up to date and accurate
- Trade or Engineering Qualifications or Equivalent
- Significant experience in maintenance planning/scheduling
- Asset costing and budgeting experience within heavy industry, exceptional communication skills and a passion for continuous improvement will be essential
- A solid understanding of the coal mining process and relevant mining legislation will be highly regarded
- Experience within a Mining contracting environment, desirable
