About the Role

In this pivotal position, you will play a key role in shaping the future of mental health services in our community.

As a Mental Health Nurse Consultant, you will provide expert clinical nursing care and consultancy that drives recovery and well-being for mental health consumers across various service settings.

You will be recognized as a specialist in your area, with substantial autonomy to make impactful decisions that improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead nursing teams, guide clinical practices, and ensure high-quality care is consistently delivered.
  • Oversee innovative projects and programs designed to enhance service delivery and consumer experiences.
What You Will Need
  • A Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing (or equivalent) and registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
  • At least 3 years post-registration experience in mental health nursing, with demonstrated expertise in supervision and leadership.
  • Experience working with Aboriginal consumers and ability to adapt to diverse cultural backgrounds.
Salary and Benefits

The base salary range for this position is $121,537 - $126,970 per annum, in addition to which you will receive superannuation, leave loading, zone allowance, professional development allowance, and salary sacrificing benefits.
