Job Overview

We create exceptional retail experiences across offices, stores, and logistics. As a Retail Manager, you will drive positive impact for people, places, and the planet.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing the retail component of Melbourne Central, including building effective relationships with our retail partners, analyzing budgets to improve financial performance, and implementing initiatives such as lease adherence, retailer engagement strategies, and retailer assignments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Producing insights on monthly and annual sales performance of retailers and assisting with center financial reporting and business planning.
  • Establishing relationships with key stakeholders to understand market conditions, fluctuations in their businesses, and ensure a proactive response to their needs.
  • Contributing to the development of the Retailer Engagement Strategy and implementing initiatives with the wider Retail team.
  • Monitoring lease compliance, ensuring delivery of retailer standards, and proactively monitoring debtors' situations.
  • Contributing to the operational asset leasing process to ensure strategic vision is achieved in the retail mix.
Requirements

You need experience in a retail management role combined with negotiation skills and a proven ability to deliver results. You must have a strong understanding of the retail industry and be able to develop and deliver business strategies that result in strong center performance.

Financial acumen and commercial awareness are essential, along with the ability to identify key priorities and develop timelines to achieve goals.

Exceptional communication skills are required to present to, engage with, and build effective working relationships with all stakeholders.
