We are seeking a seasoned professional to take on the role of Workplace Risk and Workers Compensation Advisor. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality advice and services to clients across various industries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Oversee national clients' workplace risk programs, ensuring timely delivery of quality services.
  • Strategic Advice: Provide clients with expert guidance on policy, premium, claims, and injury management.
  • Returns-to-Work Support: Offer outsourced support services to clients in this area.
  • Report Writing and Client Retention: Develop and implement strategies to retain clients, including detailed financial analysis.
  • Tech Expertise: Serve as a technical expert for insurance brokers in all aspects of workers' compensation.
  • Industry Relationships: Foster and maintain strategic relationships within the industry.
  • Partnership Development: Engage with strategic partners to deliver value to our organization.
  • Team Collaboration: Actively participate in our consultancy team, developing team members' knowledge and skills.
  • New Business Opportunities: Identify potential new business opportunities.
  • Tender Submissions: Prepare and present tenders on behalf of the organization.
Requirements:
  • Extensive Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience working in a national employer, broker, or leadership position in the workers compensation sector.
  • National Workers Compensation Knowledge: In-depth understanding of national workers compensation arrangements and key drivers affecting premiums.
  • Premium and Policy Management: Proven expertise in managing policy and premium across the national workers compensation landscape.
  • Business Strategy Development: Ability to develop and execute a new business strategy.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Supervisory Experience: Proven ability to supervise, coach, and mentor team members.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational, prioritization, project management, and pressure-handling abilities.
  • Credibility and Trustworthiness: Demonstrated credibility and trustworthiness as a team player.
  • Tertiary Qualification: Tertiary qualification in allied health or equivalent work experience is desirable but not required.
