Senior Advisor – Psychosocial Health Safety and Wellbeing

  • Temporary, 2-year role – 35 hours per week
  • Clerk Grade 9/10 base salary between $125,693 and $138,510 plus super and annual leave loading
  • Sydney Office (Haymarket) with flexible/hybrid work arrangements available
About Us

Legal Aid NSW helps people with their legal problems. We can help people with most areas criminal law, family law and everyday civil law legal issues. We give legal advice, help at court and do family dispute resolution. We can do this over the telephone or at one of our 28 offices.

About The Role
  • Oversee the development, implementation and evaluation of WHS projects with emphasis on psychosocial health, wellbeing and mental health initiatives.
  • Promote a safe, healthy, and supportive workplace culture and drive continuous improvement in health, safety and wellbeing outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
About You
  • Seasoned Senior Advisor able to lead and facilitate initiatives to support and promote mental health and wellbeing.
  • Experience in designing, implementing, and evaluating workplace mental health and wellbeing programs with measurable impact.
  • Expertise in psychosocial risk management with strong knowledge of psychosocial risk regulations, contemporary frameworks on psychological health and safety, and best practices in workplace mental health and wellbeing.
