Job Overview

We're seeking an experienced operations or logistics professional to lead our Point Wilson facility. As a proactive and skilled Site Manager, you'll oversee daily site operations, ensure rigorous safety and security standards, and drive team performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and manage the Point Wilson facility with precision and efficiency.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage the site team to achieve operational success and resource optimization.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal teams, customers, government agencies, and service providers.
  • Oversee and maintain security, quality, safety, and environmental compliance at the highest level.
  • Manage operational support, including wharf shipping, storage, distribution, and maintenance, to ensure depot preparedness for emergencies.
  • Develop and maintain workforce capability and succession planning to meet site needs.
  • Administer local recruitment, staff development, and performance management processes.
  • Provide timely information to management on revenue opportunities, customer needs, market changes, and compliance matters.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, process improvements, system design, and quality standards as part of ongoing business improvement.
Required Qualifications
  • Diploma of Business (Logistics Management) or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong background in logistics and multi-mode transport operations.
  • Proven experience in leading and developing teams, with sound business and personnel management abilities.
  • Previous experience in Defence and/or EO supply chain would be highly advantageous.
