Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Facilities and Maintenance Manager to lead our team at our largest global distribution centre. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to join our operations team and make a real impact on our business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the safety, compliance, and operational efficiency of the DC, overseeing equipment and infrastructure maintenance, while ensuring site-wide safety, compliance, and facilities standards are met.

This role requires strong leadership skills, with experience in maintenance and facilities management within a complex operational environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving proactive maintenance strategies, championing safety and compliance, and managing resources and contractors effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the safety, compliance, and operational efficiency of the DC
  • Oversee equipment and infrastructure maintenance
  • Ensure site-wide safety, compliance, and facilities standards are met
  • Lead a high-performing team to achieve results
Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Demonstrated experience in maintenance and facilities management within a complex operational environment
  • A strong understanding of WHS legislation, safety systems, and risk management practices
  • Proven capability in project planning, resource coordination, and prioritisation under pressure
  • Experience managing contractors, budgets, and service level agreements
  • Effective people leadership with a focus on team engagement and capability development
  • Clear, confident communication and strong reporting and stakeholder management skills
  • Familiarity with digital safety systems & site operational safety plans
