Job Description

At Shift, we are seeking a highly skilled Digital Payments Operations Strategist to lead our payment operations team.

About the Role
  • This is a unique opportunity to shape the newly established Payment's function within our organization.
  • You will play a key role in defining and communicating the needs and priorities of Payments Operations, establishing a strong foundation for this function.

We are looking for an experienced professional who can oversee operational risk controls, ensure compliance with industry guidelines, and resolve or escalate payments-related incidents.

Responsibilities
  • Implement and oversee operational controls to ensure strict adherence to standards, with a focus on regulatory requirements such as AML/CTF.
  • Quickly assess incidents, apply structured problem-solving techniques, and escalate issues effectively when required.
  • Communicate process changes with clarity, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal operational impact.
  • Establish robust controls to ensure accuracy in all operational processes.
Requirements
  • A business or finance degree is beneficial but not essential.
Additional Information
  • Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year (dependent on experience).
  • We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
