Key Role Information

This is a strategic leadership position within an organisation, overseeing health and wellbeing initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive health safety and wellbeing management strategies to enhance workforce capability and agility.
  • Provide visionary leadership to ensure health and wellbeing programs are embedded across all organisational areas.
  • Build partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver exceptional service and drive business outcomes.
  • Support the development of Workplace Health and Safety networks and teams to strengthen assurance in this area.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to align key departmental priorities and drive organisational performance.
  • Lead the design and oversight of governance frameworks to monitor performance and drive continuous improvement in health and wellbeing outcomes.
  • Ensure health and wellbeing policies and procedures remain contemporary, compliant and aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Utilise data analytics to inform strategic decision-making and proactively manage emerging risks.
  • Champion a positive safety culture by driving change initiatives and embedding health and wellbeing values across the organisation.
  • Provide expert leadership in response to critical incidents, ensuring timely and effective resolution and post-incident review.
