Safety, Health & Wellbeing Leader

This leadership position will oversee, influence and develop the GTO IM Wacol operations in relation to all Safety, Health & Wellbeing matters. It provides strategic guidance and development of the Safety, Health & Wellbeing department to support GTO IM Wacol Plant in its safety journey and develop, execute, and realise the Volvo Group's safety strategy to become an organisation with active care mindset.

  • Ensure and improve the safety culture across the GTO Brisbane sites.
  • Coach and inspire our people towards an active care organisation.
  • Lead and develop Safety, Health and Wellbeing resources and competence.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership: Provide visionary leadership to drive safety, health and wellbeing initiatives forward.
  • Culture Development: Foster a culture of safety awareness and promote a proactive approach to risk management.
  • Resource Management: Develop and manage resources to support the delivery of safety, health and wellbeing programs.
