Mechanical Maintenance Technician

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our team in Perth. As a key member of our operations, you will play a vital role in maintaining the safety, efficiency, and profitability of our facility.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Performing preventative and reactive maintenance on steel rolling mills critical to our operation;
  • Installing, commissioning, and training on various manufacturing machines;
  • Holding a strong safety focus, with excellent communication and teamwork skills;

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A strong mechanical and technical aptitude, with experience in machine-based operations;
  • A safety-focused approach, with the ability to manage any Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) issues effectively;
  • A consultative hands-on approach, with the ability to work with diverse teams;
  • Qualifications in Fitting or Mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience;
  • Experience in machine-based manufacturing environments or equipment;
