Mechanical Planner Scheduler Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced mechanical maintenance coordinator to join our site-based maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and coordinating preventative and predictive mechanical maintenance strategies to ensure optimum equipment reliability.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical maintenance management principles, experience working with processing plants and mining processing equipment, and proficiency in using computer systems including CMMS and the Microsoft Office Suite.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain mechanical maintenance schedules and plans;
  • Coordinate and oversee mechanical maintenance activities;
  • Monitor and report on mechanical maintenance performance indicators;
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A mechanical trade qualification or tertiary qualification;
  • Proven experience in mechanical maintenance management;
  • Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills;
  • Proficiency in MS Project and CMMS software;
  • A National Police Clearance and Western Australian C Class Drivers Licence.
