Mechanical Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Specialist to join our team in Eastern Creek. This is an exciting opportunity to work with leading brands and contribute to the manufacture of products that ensure consumer health and well-being.

As a Mechanical Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting routine inspections of machinery, equipment, and facilities to identify maintenance needs. You will perform preventive maintenance tasks according to schedules to ensure optimal performance and respond promptly to equipment breakdowns.

You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems and perform repairs as necessary. You will also collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify maintenance needs
  • Perform scheduled maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns and resolve issues promptly
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems and perform repairs
  • Coordinate maintenance activities with other departments

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
