Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team in Western Australia. This is an ongoing day shift position that involves working as part of a maintenance team, ensuring the efficient operation of plastic packaging equipment.

About the Role

This role includes carrying out routine maintenance tasks and repairs on machinery and equipment, performing fabrication tasks as required, and assisting with installation and commissioning of new equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks and repairs on machinery and equipment
  • Perform fabrication tasks as required
  • Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to hold a mechanical trade certificate or equivalent, have a minimum 3 years experience as a mechanical fitter, and possess FMCg experience. Previous experience in manufacturing or processing environment is also an advantage, as well as experience in blow-mould, hydraulics & pneumatics and fabrication skills.
