About the Opportunity

We are seeking a visionary leader to spearhead our Strategic Asset Management team. As a seasoned professional, you will relish the challenge of developing and implementing innovative solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, with experience in strategic asset management and facilities management planning. A degree in a relevant discipline is also essential.

A key aspect of this role is to work collaboratively with other sections of the organization to ensure delivery of organizational objectives. This includes managing strategic asset management and facilities management planning, systems, and programs in accordance with the requirements of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clear and visible leadership and direction while developing team capacity and ensuring delivery of quality outcomes.
  • Manage strategic asset management and facilities management planning, systems, and programs in accordance with the requirements of the organization.
  • Work collaboratively with other sections of the organization to ensure delivery of organizational objectives.

Requirements

Possession of a Degree in a relevant discipline.

Hold a current unrestricted 'C' class national driver's licence.

Senior leadership and management experience including people management.

Experience in strategic asset management and facilities management planning, systems, and programs.

Experienced in monitoring cost effective performance, project management and contract management.

Local Government experience (desirable).
