Health Safety Specialist

As a Workplace Health and Safety Professional, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of our clients and staff. This position requires an individual with expertise in workplace health and safety management systems, risk assessment, and compliance.
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to join our team on a permanent full-time basis. Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, this hybrid role involves:
- Conducting thorough risk assessments and implementing mitigating strategies.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure adherence to organisational policy and legislative requirements.
- Providing input and review of OH&S policies and procedures.
- Monitoring controls and reviewing their effectiveness.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Relevant WHS/Risk Management qualifications and experience.
- Proven track record of implementing effective WHS management systems.
- Current/unrestricted driver's license and willingness to travel periodically.
- Current First Aid and CPR qualification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of computer literacy and administrative skills.
