Job Opportunity: Health Safety Specialist
About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Specialist to join our organisation. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of health and safety principles, regulations, and best practices.
Main Responsibilities:- Risk Assessment and Management: Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement effective control measures.
- Safety Audits: Regularly conduct safety audits to ensure compliance with organisational policies and external regulations.
- Training and Development: Deliver training sessions to staff on health and safety procedures, promoting a culture of awareness and responsibility.
- Policy Development: Collaborate with management to develop and implement health and safety policies that align with industry standards.
- Qualifications: Certificate IV in WHS (Diploma preferred) or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience in a health and safety support role.
- Knowledge and Skills: In-depth knowledge of OHS legislation, compliance, and safety systems; excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Additional Requirements: Current Driver's Licence and Working with Children Check/National Police Check.
