Overview
Children's Medical Research Institute (CMRI) is a world-renowned independent medical research organisation with a focus on four key areas impacting children's health: cancer, genomics and genetic diseases, neurobiology, and embryology.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify, develop and manage an active portfolio of prospective high-net-worth individuals, Foundations and Trusts to cultivate and solicit major gifts.
- Collaborate with internal and external professional units to identify and implement funding opportunities for programs and initiatives.
- Develop compelling written proposals to inspire philanthropic giving.
- Solicit support through regular meetings, email and personal approaches, tracking activities and income against key performance indicators.
- Devise stewardship plans for existing donors in your portfolio to ensure supporters are well-stewarded and recognised by CMRI.
Key Qualifications:
- Ability to proactively identify and pursue funding opportunities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Results-driven with a strong track record of securing philanthropic funding.
