Philanthropy is vital to Children's Cancer Institute achieving its vision to save the lives of all children with cancer and improve their long-term health, through research.
Securing, retaining and growing high value support is at the centre of our fundraising strategy.
This role of Philanthropy Executive is responsible for the execution and development of meaningful engagement plans for major donors across a variety of Institute research projects, to retain our most important donors, whilst supporting on the acquisition strategy to maintain and grow our major giving pipeline
As our Philanthropy Executive your purpose will be to:
Work alongside the Philanthropy Relationship Manager, developing the strategy and execution of bespoke engagement plans for our most valuable supporters, using data and historical CRM information to deliver a range of communications including sharing of updates, thanking, and responding to queries in a timely manner.
Support the Philanthropy team through prospect research that contributes towards annual acquisition targets.
Work collaboratively with the Philanthropy and Brand and Content teams to ensure supporter communications are on brand, timely and targeted to ensure the right people receive the right information at the right time.
Tracking and reporting on the impact of philanthropic activities, demonstrating the value of donations to donors and stakeholders, for both Institute wide initiatives as well as for contracted grants and donations.
Confident engagement with internal and external stakeholders for both online and face-to-face interactions to develop strong and meaningful relationships to drive successful outcomes.
Partnering with the wider Marketing and Fundraising team to enable the successful execution of the broader team strategy, including external communications, donor engagement, events (including the signature Diamond Events and Research Showcase).
Managing the timely delivery of key projects, donor comms, and events, through Monday.com or similar project management tools.
To succeed you will have…
2+ years of fundraising experience or transferrable skills from other work experience.
Experience working with mid-high value supporters and delivering exceptional customer service.
Experience managing high-stake events and projects, using project management tools, ideally Monday.com
Ability to manage all stages of donor pipelines, from prospect research to cultivation.
Degree qualifications in a relevant field
