Job Description:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Chief Financial Operations Officer to join our team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our control framework across all CCO operations in a confidential and accountable manner.

The key duties of this role include:

  • Clearance reconciliation
  • Preparing club banking
  • Issuing and balancing floats including keno, bars and change bars
  • Assisting with the preparation of ATMs
  • Balancing at the end of the shift
  • Providing advice and recommendations relating to process flows and reporting
  • Balancing of all club monies
  • Monitoring and reviewing cash handling within the organisation including POS variances
  • Recording all transactions
  • Maintaining petty cash records in accordance with club policy
  • Minimising the club's cash exposure during all operational hours
  • Maintaining and coordinating the implementation of cash control procedures as required
  • Performing any other duty reasonably requested at any other time

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and experience:

  • Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Micros POS, Clubline accounting software)
  • Strong hands-on accounting skills
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong numerical skills with high level accuracy
  • Self-directed, whilst working in a team environment
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability
  • Willing to travel when required depending on business needs
  • Possess a current NSW Liquor and Gaming RSA and RCG competency card

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, plus superannuation and other benefits.
