Job Title: Registrar Liaison Officer

This is an exciting opportunity for a Registrar Liaison Officer to collaborate with medical education teams, practice managers and supervisors in the delivery of general practitioner training.

About the Role:

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for advocating for the individual and collective needs of GP registrars participating in RACGP training programs.
  • They will also support the development and maintenance of educational materials, including module curation, updates and additions.
  • In addition, they will provide assistance with day-to-day questions relating to any medical education aspects of the program.
  • They will work closely with management to inform quality improvements relevant to the practice environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advocacy for GP registrars
  • Supporting medical education development
  • Providing assistance with day-to-day questions
  • Informing quality improvements

Requirements:

  • Experience in general practice performance assessment and education/training development
  • Completion of at least six (6) months of GP community-based training within the AGPT program
  • Strong communication and advocacy skills
  • Passion for assisting registrars and GP training
