This is a role for a Commercial Lawyer to join our team at LexisNexis.

About the Position

We are seeking a Commercial Lawyer with strong practice experience, solid understanding of commercial contracts, business structures, franchising, purchase and sale of business, trusts, government procurement and sanctions.

The successful candidate will have recent experience in an Australian mid to top tier law firm or in-house counsel role and excellent communication and plain-English writing skills.

Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining high-quality up-to-date practical legal content, preparing and maintaining practically-focused content, and providing support to Relationship Managers.

Requirements
  • Strong practice experience in commercial law
  • Solid understanding of commercial contracts, business structures, franchising, purchase and sale of business, trusts, government procurement and sanctions
  • Recent experience in an Australian mid to top tier law firm or in-house counsel role
  • Excellent communication and plain-English writing skills
