Our Role:

The Principal Adviser, Education role plays a critical part in influencing community and householder behaviours in relation to recycling and waste avoidance. This involves planning and leading the education and awareness raising activities for the agency, working with and supporting our stakeholders in state and local government, and the broader South Australian community.

A key deliverable of this role will be managing GISA's community waste avoidance and recycling education activities to support the delivery of programs such as Which Bin? and Replace the Waste. Providing expert advice to stakeholders on the use of these programs and branded resources to improve recycling behaviours and build awareness and understanding of waste management systems will also be a priority.
