Geo-Environmental Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Geo-Environmental Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will lead and deliver projects focused on waste management, water infrastructure, mining, and ground engineering.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and deliver projects in waste management, including landfill design, engineered containment systems, geosynthetic applications, and resource recovery solutions.
  • Develop cutting-edge solutions for geo-environmental challenges, integrating waste management into broader infrastructure projects.
  • Prepare and review technical documentation for waste-related projects across planning, design, and execution phases.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients in the waste and geo-environmental sectors, supporting both project delivery and business development initiatives.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Tertiary qualification in Civil, Geotechnical, or Environmental Engineering combined with more than 7 years of industry experience.
  • Significant experience in waste and geo-environmental engineering.
  • Strong expertise in waste management, including landfill design, leachate systems, geosynthetics, and resource recovery.
  • Expertise addressing subsurface environmental risks, embankments, earthworks, and surface water management.
