Job Overview

The Supply Chain and Procurement Officer role involves managing the entire procurement lifecycle, from demand planning to vendor management. This fast-paced position requires a candidate with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Demand Planning: Prepare, review, and execute routine reviews of the demand planning forecast to ensure accurate predictions.
  • Purchase Orders: Raise purchase orders for products with vendors, ensuring correct quantities, prices, and delivery timelines.
  • Logistics: Coordinate and arrange logistics of shipments from China to Australia, optimizing container loads and coordinating multiple purchase orders into containers.
  • Procurement Analysis: Analyze orders, inventory levels, inbound and outbound freight costs, quality control costs, and other procurement-related costs to identify areas for improvement.
  • Vendor Management: Maintain good vendor relations and address vendor-related issues as appropriate.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in procurement
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in procurement or supply chain management
  • Strong verbal and written English language skills; Mandarin is highly desired
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas; experience with ERP software is desirable
