Procurement and Supply Chain Management Role

We are seeking a skilled procurement professional to manage the procurement, planning, and fulfillment of supplies and services that support our business units.

This role is responsible for developing sourcing strategies, creating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and driving cost savings initiatives.

  • Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to reduce risk and meet targets for the purchasing department
  • Create contract documents in collaboration with the legal team
  • Manage contracts to ensure the performance of the supplier to contract obligations
  • Conduct research, perform benchmarking, and gather market analysis for assigned categories
  • Identify and drive year-over-year cost optimization through reducing usage and eliminating waste within our operations

To succeed in this role, you will require a strong ability to read drawings and blueprints, an understanding of manufacturing complexity, and experience with technical procurement, manufacturing, or designing production components.

You should also possess advanced analytical and organizational skills, excellent customer service skills, and effective written, verbal, and presentation communication skills. APICS certification and/or Lean Six Sigma certification would be highly beneficial.

Key Requirements:
  • Advanced degree and 4+ years of experience working in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • A proven track record of delivering results and meeting targets
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant procurement software
