Expert Palliative Care Professional

Make a lasting impact in the lives of others as an Expert Palliative Care Professional.

  • Role: Enhance palliative care services and outcomes across various settings, including residential homes and community health centers.
  • Responsibilities:
    • Design and implement comprehensive strategies to elevate proficiency in palliative care.
    • Develop and update policies and procedures related to palliative and end-of-life care.
    • Collaborate with senior management and cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and conduct audits of palliative care.
    • Work closely with pastoral care teams to develop programs and tools for palliative and end-of-life experiences.
    • Develop briefs and communication materials for palliative-friendly environments in all residential homes.
    • Collaborate with community health centers to develop palliative care-specific packages for individuals requiring this support in their own homes and within respite centers.
    • Identify services and develop financial modeling for private clients.
    • Recommend innovative palliative services and work with finance teams to assess sustainability.
    • Build relationships with external agencies referring palliative/end-of-life clients and residents.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong leadership abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality palliative care.

  • Advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g. nursing, social work, medicine).
  • Proven experience in palliative care leadership or management.
  • Strong understanding of palliative care principles and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
