Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Recruitment Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Conducting thorough interviews with applicants to assess their suitability for job vacancies, working closely with site departments to identify suitable staff.
  • Developing and loading job adverts onto the HRIS system to ensure effective recruitment processes.
  • Receiving and recording job vacancy information from departments, including job descriptions, wages, and conditions of employment.
  • Providing accurate and timely information to management, work areas, and job seekers on current job vacancies within the organization.
  • Arranging the induction of new staff and providing essential information on conditions of service, salaries, and promotional opportunities.
  • Offering expert advice and guidance to management on workplace relations policies, staff performance, and disciplinary matters.
  • Resolving disputes and grievances in a fair and efficient manner.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:

  • A degree in Human Resources or a related field, or extensive experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent knowledge of Modern Awards and the ability to locate concise and accurate information.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Effective problem-solving, organisational, and time management skills.
  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
  • A current and unencumbered Class C Drivers Licence.
  • Proficiency in using Human Resources Information Systems.
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • The capacity to take a customer-centric approach and provide exceptional service.
