About the Role

Suncorp Group is seeking a skilled Claims Advisor to join our team and contribute to delivering outstanding customer service while achieving exceptional commercial results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Provide empathetic and effective support to customers, ensuring they feel heard and valued.
  • Manage and Resolve Claims: Oversee a portfolio of claims, working proactively to achieve timely and favorable outcomes.
  • Negotiate and Communicate: Handle pre-proceedings and litigated claims with finesse, liaising with claimants, solicitors, and other stakeholders through various communication channels.
  • Optimize Claim Strategies: Implement strategies to reduce claim duration and costs, ensuring each case is managed efficiently.
  • Assess and Evaluate Claims: Continuously review claim estimates and quantum based on available evidence and procedural requirements.
  • Collaborate Effectively: Work with Injury Management Advisors, Technical Advisors, and other internal teams to drive successful claim resolutions.
Requirements
  • Empathy and Compassion: Demonstrate genuine care for helping customers through challenging times.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess the ability to listen, build rapport, and explain complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Strong Administrative Abilities: Manage all aspects of claims effectively, adhering to state legislation and internal procedures.
  • Integrity and Commitment: Demonstrate dedication to exceeding customer expectations and maintaining high standards.
  • Relevant Experience: Previous claims management experience is highly regarded, but candidates with Allied Health or legal backgrounds are also welcome.
