About the Role

The opportunity to excel in a dynamic and innovative claims management environment has arisen at NTI, a market leader in the specialist insurance industry.

As a Technical Claims Specialist, you will be part of a small team of Claims Technical Leads from across Australia, working closely with the Technical Claims Manager to implement a proactive claims management process that sets NTI apart from its competitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Complex Claims Portfolios: Provide expert management of a complex claims portfolio, ensuring timely and effective resolution of claims.
  • Liability Product Claims: Manage a small portfolio of Liability product claims, utilizing your technical expertise to drive efficient and effective claims resolution.
  • Technical Claims Expertise: Share your technical claims expertise to benefit internal and external customers, driving business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Relationship Building: Develop, build, and maintain relationships with key broker partners in the region, fostering strong partnerships and driving business growth.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Partner with senior leaders to drive full engagement with NTI's values, focusing on the pursuit of excellence in the delivery of claims services.
  • Claims Analysis and Reporting: Create and execute analysis and reporting on claims activity and trends, providing valuable insights to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Innovative Solutions: Contribute to innovative solutions to maintain service differentiation, driving business growth and customer satisfaction.
About You

We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive problem solver with exceptional communication, relationship management, and stakeholder management skills.

As a Technical Claims Specialist, you will have a minimum of five years' experience in a similar technical claims role in the commercial heavy motor insurance industry, as well as relevant ANZIIF qualifications.

You will have a technical mindset and a solid understanding of policy wordings, with a passion for initiating improvements to process and efficiency.
