Project Control Role

We're looking for a skilled project control specialist to join our team in Renewables. As a project control specialist, you will be responsible for driving the establishment and implementation of Equinor's project control methodology, experience, and benchmark according to business case, development phase, and strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with respective disciplines and stakeholders in the project portfolio to ensure high-quality project control deliverables.
  • Perform trend analysis and actively evaluate project cost and schedule performance to identify potential risk areas and mitigating actions.
  • Provide critical, decision-making information to the project team and management to ensure projects deliver on time and within cost targets.
  • Actively collaborate with project members to identify weak signals, upsides, and required actions.
  • Support the project team by handling and managing project cost and scheduling activities from the design phase to project close-out.

Requirements

  • Good understanding of complex multidisciplinary project developments and proven track record of project control deliveries within renewables, oil and gas, or construction industry.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree, preferably in a technical discipline. Possess more than 7 years of relevant post-graduate experience.
  • Excellent analytical, presentation, communication, and influencing skills with the ability to utilize digital tools and visual communication.
  • Proven experience of working within a high-performance, cross-functional organization with tight timelines and ambitious targets across project portfolios.
