We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Technician to perform various manual handling tasks and simulate coal production processes to test the properties of coal samples. The successful candidate will have excellent physical fitness and the ability to work accurately in a laboratory setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform manual handling tasks to prepare large coal samples for testing and analysis.
  • Participate in the simulation of coal production processes to test coal sample properties and identify any potential issues.
Requirements
  • Certificate III or IV in Laboratory Skills (preferred but not essential).
  • Previous laboratory or sample preparation experience is well regarded, although not essential.
  • Excellent physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks safely.
  • A methodical and well-organized approach to work.
  • Ability to pass a medical assessment and adhere to all site safety protocols.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Reliability and strong communication skills.
