About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Category Management Professional to join our team as a Decor and Storage Product Specialist. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled individual to take on a new challenge and contribute to the success of our business.

Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for curating ranges, refining GBB competitive pricing & product architecture in line with Category Strategy. You will work closely with group sourcing & Graphic Packaging Design Team to maximise own brand offers & grow customer advocacy where relevant. Additionally, you will manage key strategic Initiatives, deliver targets on sales growth, profitability and market share, and build and manage an effective and sustainable end-to-end promotional program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Curate ranges, refined GBB competitive pricing & product architecture in line with Category Strategy, using Customer and Market insights to ensure it's aligned to BIG W strategies
  • Partner with group sourcing & Graphic Packaging Design Team to maximise own brand offers & grow customer advocacy where relevant
  • Manage key strategic Initiatives, as well as deliver targets on sales growth, profitability and market share. Build and manage an effective and sustainable end-to-end promotional program
  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to implement promotional activity effectively
  • Degree range optimum via a planned review schedule, offering choice that is store tailored, reflective of the category roles, incorporates changing customer trends and utilises focused customer insight

Requirements
  • Previous experience in Category Management or Buying in Homewares, with an emphasis on project management skills
Salary Range

$80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
