Field Service Technician

This position plays a vital role in road safety for customers and the public.

  • Working on roadways, from ladders at height and MEWPs (Mobile Elevated Work Platforms).
  • Installation and commissioning of bespoke Windows-based systems.
  • Preventative maintenance of computer and camera systems.
  • Resolving system faults.
  • Completion of reports associated with the above.
  • Attend all corporate and safety training.
  • Participate in ON-call rotation and night work in tunnels.

Requirements:

  • A self-educating individual passionate about service delivery.
  • Experience undertaking maintenance repair installation tasks in a commercial environment where meeting SLAs is business critical.
  • Cloning installing configuring new hardware software to meet company objectives.
  • A high-level understanding of communications technology.
  • Experience with IT system administration networks related technologies troubleshooting.
  • Excellent attention to detail initiative to create improved processes.
  • Experience writing maintenance service reports.
  • Flexible organised capable of working with minimal direction.
