**Traffic Management Specialist Role**

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Traffic Management Specialist to join our team in a busy control room environment. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in redirecting traffic flow, coordinating response teams, and relaying critical information to ensure road safety.

The ideal candidate will have experience in monitoring centres, control rooms, or operational environments, with a strong understanding of traffic control, emergency response, and incident management. They will be able to operate across multiple assets, prioritise tasks efficiently, and provide accurate real-time updates to stakeholders and the public.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Operate intelligent transport systems (ITS) including CCTV, AID, and road management platforms to guarantee safe and efficient traffic flow.
  • Coordinate with emergency services, field crews, and internal teams to manage incidents such as breakdowns, accidents, and hazards.
  • Develop incident management and traffic management plans to maintain efficient and safe road operations.
  • Apply innovative solutions to improve processes and recommend best practices.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in a monitoring centre, control room, or operational environment.
  • Strong computer skills and analytical ability.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and make decisions quickly.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
