Transforming IT Infrastructure for Success

About the Role

This leadership position oversees the effective and efficient delivery of third-party and internally managed IT infrastructure to support business processes and services across the enterprise.

As a key member of the IT leadership team, you will contribute to developing and executing an enterprise-wide IT strategy while maintaining operational and service management processes to achieve quality, efficiency, and agility goals.

You will lead a team of technical engineers in delivering high-quality services, ensuring strong interpersonal skills and experience managing internal and external customer expectations.

This is an excellent opportunity to demonstrate your expertise in technical cloud & infrastructure, project management acumen, and vendor management skills to drive cost-effective and innovative infrastructure solutions.

A Day in the Life
  • Provide strategic direction and oversight for the design, development, operation, and support of IT systems.
  • Maintain currency on new technologies and platforms and provide direction on emerging technologies to be assimilated, integrated, and introduced in infrastructure and cloud spaces.
  • Lead and drive a team of technical engineers to improve ticket response time and incident resolution.
  • Operate a formal technical governance mechanism to ensure services are delivered in line with agreed business outcomes.
  • Implement priority triage to balance BAU (support) and projects.
What We're Looking For

We seek a leader who has successfully leveraged traditional best practices, such as ITSM, as well as emerging methods, like DevOps (Cloud environment deployment repeatability), optimized for agility.

The ideal candidate possesses people leadership and mentoring experience, with strong interpersonal skills and experience managing expectations of internal and external stakeholders.

Prior experience in cloud architecture or understanding, along with a degree in computer science or a relevant field, is required.
