Field Service Manager Role Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective strategies to ensure seamless execution of field service activities. This includes creating commercial service plans to drive business growth, achieving set sales revenue targets, leading and developing a large team of field service professionals to remain competitive in the market, collaborating with diverse teams to drive technological innovation and support customer needs, fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction, adhering to high quality and safety standards to deliver exceptional service, and building lasting relationships with customers through key account management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies for flawless execution of field service activities
  • Create commercial service plans to grow the service business
  • Achieve sales revenue targets as set in the Annual Operating Plan
  • Lead and develop a large team of field service professionals to remain competitive in the market
  • Collaborate with diverse teams to drive technological innovation and support customer needs
  • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Adhere to high quality and safety standards to deliver exceptional service
  • Build lasting relationships with customers through key account management
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in managing field service business including profit and loss responsibility
  • Track record in driving business growth and revenue targets through strategy implementation and tactical action execution
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • At least 7 years of experience in service business management and/or Commercial service management
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working in a global and matrix organization with a decentralized model (desired)
