Role Overview

The Field Service Operations Director is responsible for overseeing the activities of field technicians in our Service team. This role requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as the ability to engage proactively with customers and motivate and inspire a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Planning and delivering repair/maintenance works across multiple sites
  • Monitoring material inventory control and technician rostering to ensure efficient operations
  • Managing performance and skill development of the team through coaching and feedback
  • Developing business relationships through regular site visits and customer engagement
  • Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through effective issue resolution

Requirements

  • Mechanical or Electrical trade qualifications desirable
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced service environment, preferably with exposure to multiple teams
  • Full driver's licence and ability to travel to various sites
  • Proven success in coordinating multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Strong commitment to safety in the workplace and adherence to company policies
  • Ability to interact effectively with customers, both verbally and written
  • High emotional intelligence and strong interpersonal skills
