Lead a Team of Professionals

About the role

  • Supervise and direct Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services across four regions in NSW.
  • Ensure these services have access to a skilled workforce.

This leadership position will oversee the overall success of AH&MRC Member Services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational efficiency, risk management, and financial performance.
  • Determine core organisational values with the Board of Directors and communicate them effectively.
  • Establish high-quality service standards, developing systems for operational improvement.
  • Oversee all functions within the organisation and provide strategic guidance.

Qualifications and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Administration, Governance, Leadership, Finance, or a related field.
  • Completion of the Australian Institute of Company Directors' training program (or equivalent).
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Chief Executive Officer in a comparable health sector organisation.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience leading and managing work teams.

Essential Criteria:

  • Confirmation of Aboriginality.
  • Able to hold a National Police Check.
  • Willingness to travel State-wide, Nationally, and Internationally when required.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the organisation is a leader in efficient business operations, establishing core values, creating high-quality service standards, overseeing functions, and providing strategic direction.
