Vocational Assessor Role

Prestige Health Services Australia (PHSA) is a leading provider of workplace rehabilitation services, delivering innovative solutions to achieve sustainable health and return-to-work outcomes.

We are seeking an experienced Rehabilitation Counsellor or Registered Psychologist to join our team as a Vocational Assessor. In this role, you will conduct one-off vocational assessments for injured workers across various schemes, including Workers Compensation, CTP, and Life Insurance.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Interviewing injured workers to identify suitable employment options
  • Investigating the labour market to inform vocational assessments
  • Report writing and liaison with treating professionals as required

No case management is required in this role, making it an ideal opportunity for those who enjoy one-off assessments. Experience within life insurance would be highly regarded.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Minimum 3 years experience with vocational assessment and/or employability assessments
  • Minimum 3 years experience in Worker's Compensation, Comcare, and/or life insurance
  • Full registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) or/and membership with ASORC/RCAA
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Current driver's licence and motor vehicle
