About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Senior Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team at Prestige Health Services Australia (PHSA). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting vocational assessments for injured workers across various schemes.

Job Description

This role involves interviewing injured workers, identifying suitable employment options, investigating the labour market, report writing, and liaising with treating professionals as required. You will have the autonomy to work independently, with flexibility and opportunities for career advancement within our organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct vocational assessments for injured workers across various schemes, including Workers Compensation, CTP, and Life Insurance.
  • Interview and interact with injured workers to identify their strengths and weaknesses.
  • Investigate the labour market to determine suitable employment options for injured workers.
  • Write comprehensive reports detailing your findings and recommendations.
  • Liaise with treating professionals, including medical practitioners and rehabilitation specialists.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in vocational assessment and/or employability assessments.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in Worker's Compensation, Comcare, and/or life insurance.
  • Full registration with AHPRA or membership with ASORC/RCAA.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • A current driver's licence and motor vehicle.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary based on clinical and workplace rehabilitation experience, ranging from $80,000 to $120,000 per annum. In addition to a lucrative bonus system, we provide a comprehensive induction, training, and mentoring program, as well as a laptop and smartphone.
