Job Title: Maintenance and Technical Support Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance and Technical Support (MATS) Supervisor to oversee the maintenance of our Residential Aged Care Facility (RACF) and Independent Living Units (ILU). The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all preventive maintenance, repair, and upkeep operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing all preventive maintenance, repair, and upkeep operations of RACF & ILU;
  • Scheduling repairs, maintaining inventory, developing, and implementing preventive maintenance schedule and procedures;
  • Liaising with contractors, vendors, inspectors;
  • Ensuring timely compliance to all regulatory requirements;
  • Documenting and keeping maintenance records required for audit and accreditation;
  • Conducting regular inspections of the facilities to detect and resolve problems, preserve the excellent condition and functionality of RACF & ILU;
  • Responding to urgent maintenance calls including off business hour or rest day;
  • Performing general repair maintenance tasks including FFE, landscaping;
  • Performing any other tasks as instructed by your superior or RACF General Manager / Manager.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a maintenance and management role with excellent organisation and leadership abilities;
  • Jack-of-all-trades with in-depth knowledge of maintenance procedures and records keeping;
  • Skilled in a variety of areas including plumbing, carpentry, electrical system, handling of basic tools and appliances;
  • A good problem solver with exceptional communication and organisational skills;
  • Good command of spoken and written English;
  • Computer literate;
  • Ability to work off hours to attend to emergency;
  • Valid police check certificate or can obtain the certificate prior to employment;
  • Valid driver's license and own vehicle;
  • Having at least two doses of COVID-19 Vaccination.
