About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Brisbane. As a key member of our engineering projects, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting thorough inspections and tests on materials, components, and finished products.
  • Identifying and reporting any defects or non-conformities in a timely manner.
  • Collaborating with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues efficiently.
  • Maintaining accurate records of inspections and test results for easy reference.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards and company quality policies at all times.
  • Managing documentation and administrative tasks related to quality control processes.
  • Providing support in preparing quality reports and audits as required.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Able to read and interpret technical drawings with ease.
  • A diploma or degree in Engineering, Quality Control, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in quality assurance or a similar role within the engineering industry.
  • Familiarity with mechanical fabrication (SMP / Tanks) and/or industrial sectors.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Familiarity with quality control tools and techniques.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
  • Proficiency in administrative tasks and documentation management.
