System Configuration Specialist Role

This key position will play a vital role in delivering projects that enhance aviation safety and efficiency.

  • Key Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for providing system configuration management services, including identifying and managing engineering baselines within the CM toolset. Additionally, you will support change, configuration and review boards, and participate in physical configuration audits as required.

The successful candidate will have 5+ years' experience in a project-based team or product engineering management environment, with industry-recognised training in configuration and data management. They will also have exposure to the ASDEFCON suite of templates and contracting framework, as well as an understanding of the Configuration Management Standard EIA649C.

Furthermore, you will work closely with project and engineering personnel to ensure that data, documentation, and media are catalogued, stored, and retrievable. This will involve registering, tracking, and reporting on approved configuration changes in work products, as well as preparing and issuing Configuration Status Account Reports (CSARs) in accordance with CM plans and procedures.

  • Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess excellent stakeholder management skills, proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, and the ability to liaise with project and engineering personnel effectively.
