This role is responsible for managing the configuration of systems, processes and data throughout the program lifecycle.
About the RoleThe Configuration Manager reports to the Program Management Office and interfaces with multiple disciplines and levels of management to ensure adequate control and traceability of all program artefacts.
- Design and establish configuration management documentation using SharePoint systems.
- Establish, modify, and implement SharePoint workflows and data structures to enable effective Data and Configuration Management.
- Maintain the Knowledge Management System and control the sharing of configuration-controlled data within the consortium and with stakeholders.
- Analyse proposed product design changes to determine their effect on the overall system.
- Authorise the release of software and drawings and changes specified by Program or Engineering Management.
- Provide advice and guidance on methods, procedures, and requirements to individuals responsible for the creation of documentation.
- Act as liaison between management and other functional groups to resolve issues regarding configuration analysis documentation.
- Perform audits to verify compliance with contract requirements.
- Current clearance or ability to obtain a clearance.
- 5+ years experience working in Agile development environments.
- Experience with Product Lifecyle Management (PLM) tools, specifically ARAS.
- 5+ years experience with Configuration and Data Management tools, specifically Confluence and Jira.
- 5+ years experience in a Configuration Management role.
- Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience, Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience, or equivalent relevant industry experience.
