About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Commercial Client Digital Director to join our team at News Corp Australia. As a key member of our commercial team, you will play a pivotal role in driving our digital growth ambitions and shaping the digital strategy for our state and community digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement digital commercial solutions across state and community metro mastheads websites to achieve budget targets.
  • Lead the development of digital client revenue across state-based and community digital platforms, including websites and apps.
  • Collaborate with advertising product, technology, client, and editorial teams to implement digital commercial/advertising product strategy for state-based and community websites.
  • Work closely with commercial teams to develop and execute advocacy and partnership campaigns, increasing digital revenue share within these campaigns.
  • Monitor sales performance to digital budget across state-based and community websites and identify operational challenges to deliver effective solutions.
  • Develop business cases for new innovative digital products and identify opportunities for growth.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in growing digital client revenue and driving business growth through strategic sales initiatives.
  • Deep understanding of the digital media landscape, including key trends, technologies, and advertising products.
  • Strong client relationship management skills, with the ability to understand client needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Strong understanding of the value and benefits of digital advertising to clients.
  • Exceptional strategic and analytical thinking skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable revenue strategies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present ideas and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools, platforms, and analytics.
