As an Employee Relations Compliance Specialist, reporting to the Employee Relations Compliance Manager, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing a comprehensive compliance strategy and framework focused on Employee Relations and Industrial Relations, particularly in the areas of wage and entitlement compliance.
This position presents an excellent opportunity for you to deliver expert advice and support regarding employee relations and industrial relations compliance issues, while also contributing to various management strategies.
This is a permanent role available in multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the wage and entitlement compliance program by providing key industrial relations insights and advice to data specialists.
- Offer specialized compliance support to the Employee Relations Consultancy team.
- Lead and manage projects related to employee relations and industrial relations compliance.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies, procedures, and relevant industrial laws, including payroll, Fair Work Act, enterprise agreements, awards, immigration, and other regulatory standards.
- Provide guidance on compliance, interpretation, and implementation of Industrial Instruments.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in employee relations and/or industrial relations, either in-house or within an employer association or law firm.
- Strong understanding of workplace legislation, regulations, awards, and enterprise agreements.
- A degree in law, business, human resources, or a related field with a focus on employment and industrial relations.
- Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
