About the RoleThis role will see you working closely with our RAP Advisory & Action Committee to develop and implement culturally inclusive strategies, activities, and processes that facilitate participation in procurement, development, and employment opportunities for First Nations Peoples.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with business stakeholders to develop and embed supply chain diversity through relationships with First Nations businesses, suppliers, and social enterprises
- Influencing and supporting the business to increase engagement and spend with First Nations businesses and social enterprises, and provision of employment and development opportunities for First Nations Peoples
- Providing strategic support to business units and stakeholders in the tender and delivery of First Nations engagement and participation requirements
- Contributing to the development and delivery of cultural engagement, cultural learning plans, and resources across the business
- Providing advice and support to increase business understanding of First Nations affairs and cultural competency
- Supporting the coordination of events and celebrations of cultural significance to First Nations Peoples
We're looking for a highly experienced professional with a strong background in First Nations participation, employment, and community engagement, as well as social procurement and inclusion. You'll have exceptional relationship building, influencing, and communication skills, and be able to work independently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
