Job Opportunity:

This role presents a chance to join a team focused on providing high-quality services to clients investing in unit trusts.

The team is responsible for managing various processes, including trade management, month-end reporting, and pricing distribution. This involves tasks such as sending trade instructions, settling trades, reconciling cash balances, and generating reports.

To succeed in this position, you will need to possess strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. You should be able to work effectively in a team environment, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage trade instructions, ensure timely settlement, and reconcile cash balances
  • Generate accurate reports and statistical data for internal and external clients
  • Source prices for unlisted unit trust securities and update accounting systems
  • Maintain security codes, investigate types of securities, and raise distribution accruals

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-3 years related experience in the financial services industry
  • Strong technical knowledge in unlisted unit trust trade processes, products, and systems
  • Good numeracy and analytical skills, with excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a willingness to learn processes and tasks
  • Demonstrated ability to complete accurate daily and monthly reconciliations, and/or ad hoc query investigation

Technical Competencies:

  • Unlisted Unit Trust trade process from order placement through to settlement
  • Unlisted Unit Trust products and systems
  • Custody, treasury, and/or investment management operations
