Senior Corporate Lawyer - Funds & Investments

This is a senior legal role within a top ASX listed, property investment and funds management organisation.

You will provide expert legal advice and solutions in a commercial context.

The successful candidate will have strong legal experience in corporate M&A, transaction and/or funds management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing legal expertise on all business matters, including acquisitions, commercial agreements, corporate transactions and the establishment of new funds.
  • Managing litigation and establishing new entities.
  • Liaising with external specialists as required.
  • Assisting in reviewing and approving fundraising disclosure documentation.
  • Staying up-to-date with legislative developments and ensuring internal clients are informed of current or proposed legislation affecting business activities.

Requirements:

  • Degree Qualified (LLB) with a current practicing certificate.
  • At least 2+ years post-qualified experience from a law firm and/or in-house experience.
  • Strong background in corporate, funds and/or property law highly regarded.
  • Polished communication skills, both verbally and in written form.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and take a strategic perspective in their work.

Funds Management Experience

A strong background in funds management is essential for this role. The ideal candidate will have experience in establishing new funds, managing litigation and liaising with external specialists.
